Hurricane Sandy Update from CAT Stanley

CAT Stanley here, happy to report I’m safe and sound. Unfortunately, many others of both the two-legged and four-legged varieties are not so lucky.

Here in Maryland, we experienced part of the destruction that Hurricane Sandy left in her wake. And my heart goes out to all the humans and animals suffering as a result of this horrible storm.

My friends at the Blogger Disaster Response Network (BDRN), including the folks at World Vets, are carefully monitoring the situation in the areas impacted by Hurricane Sandy. They have gathered the following links that provide valuable information and resources for those in need:

Many of these links are updating as information changes so be sure to check back frequently. I’ll continue to keep you updated as needed about disaster relief efforts and resources as I receive more information from the BDRN. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the pets and families impacted by this tragedy. I hope you find the information offered here useful.
